The only positive aspect of my stay at Light Haven Lodge was Marie, the manager. She genuinely tried to accommodate us and make the best of the situation. The room I was in, the Studio with Sofa Bed, had significant issues. The air conditioning barely worked, making the room uncomfortably hot, and I found ants everywhere in the kitchen. Unfortunately, my children ended up being bitten by something in the beds and sofas, which made the experience even more distressing. I reached out to both Marie and Igor for help, but the responses were slow, and Igor's attempts to fix the AC were ineffective. Instead of offering us a new room, we were left waiting for a repair that never came. I requested a decent refund for our long stay due to these issues, but the offered amount of $150 was insufficient given the circumstances. I appreciate that Marie did her best, but the rest of the stay was frustrating and uncomfortable, to say the least.

This place is such a gem! The big kitchen was awesome for making snacks, and chilling out in the cozy studio was perfect for our family. We also loved the picnic area for relaxing outdoors. Just wish the bathroom had better ventilation, but it didn't ruin our stay!

I stayed for 14 nights and loved the spacious Family Studio with great sleeping arrangements for everyone. The full kitchen was a game changer, but the shower had ongoing issues.
